RDH!

So I am sure we are all getting our licences day by day now. I got mine and I was able to temp on Thursday and Friday of last week. My very FIRST day of temping and they sent me to a Perio office!!! Talk about intimidating!! It went well though. Then on Friday, the Dr was running behind and his extraction patient was there so I took the tooth out... jk, but I did seat the patient for them and numbed him up for the dr. It was weird to be in private practice and be able to do that!! It was great thought and felt surprisingly natural to be working as an RDH!! Congrats again to all on our great success! And yes, Cody took my "first day of work" picture. Cute husband. :) **note my appropriate "clinic nails" and "less than dime" size earrings...

"Special " opportunity

Hey all,

How is my favorite class doing? There I said it! For those of you who LOVED working with special needs patients, There is now an opportunity (2 days/week) for an RDH as Gomper's Rehab Center (where Mary Busch worked for several years) I dont have the contact info but if you look up the center I am sure it is easy to find and a glowing referrence from Mrs. Busch would go a long way also.
